Ingredients

  • 1lauki cut into cubes
  • 1 sliceonion
  • 1tomato cut into cubes
  • 7-8cashew
  • 7-8Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 "adrak or ginger
  • 2 tbspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tbspHaldi Powder
  • 1.1/2 tspDhaniya Powder
  • 1 tbspGaram Masala
  • as neededOil
  • Salt as per taste

Steps

  1. 1

    In a kadhai add 1 tbsp oil,let heat it and then add onion to it.As onion becomes translucent add tomatos,ginger,garlic and cashews to it.let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

    After 3 to 4 minutes switch off the flame,let it cool down and as it became cool add it to mixi and grind it.

    Make a fine paste

    Now in a pan heat oil and add cubed lauki with turmuric powder and little beat of salt and let it cook for 5 minutes.

    Now take a kadhai,add oil to it,as oil heated add mustard seeds to it.let it crackle then add fine paste and fry until paste starts to leave oil.

    Once paste starts to leave oil add red chilli powder,haldi powder,dhane powder and garam masala along with salt as per taste.Mix it well.

    Now add half cooked lauki to it.let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.

    Garnish it with green Coriander.Enjoy this lauki with hot roti.
