Ingredients

  • 2 cupssifted flour
  • 4 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonssalt
  • 4 tablespoonsbutter
  • 3/4 cupsmilk
  • 1/4 cupssugar
  • 1egg yolks beaten with the milk
  • Topping
  • 3 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1/4 cupssifted flour
  • 1/4 cupssugar
  • 1 teaspoonscinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoonsvanilla

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift flour

  2. 2

    Add salt baking powder and sugar sift again

  3. 3

    Cut in shortening

  4. 4

    Gradually add in milk mixed with egg yolk

  5. 5

    And make a soft dough

  6. 6

    Press into a 9x9 pan

  7. 7

    Mix topping ingredients

  8. 8

    Spread over top

  9. 9

    Bake @ 400 for 30 minutes.
