Drain black beans and rinse well.

Place beans in small food processor with garlic, scotch bonnet pepper and olive oil. Add salt if desired.

Blend, adding additional oil until desired consistency is reached.

Serve with tortilla chips or crackers of your choice. Makes a lovely sandwich spread as well.
