Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 500 grammutton
  2. 2Potatoes cut into two halves
  3. 2onions sliced
  4. 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tablespooncashew-raisins
  6. 1 teaspoonred chilli Powder
  7. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  8. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  9. 1 teaspoonshahi jeera seeds
  10. 1bay leaf
  11. 1/2 cuphung curd
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededoil and ghee
  14. As neededwarm water

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and marinate the mutton well with salt turmeric powder,curd, ginger garlic paste and keep aside for 30 minutes or more

  2. 2

    Add oil in the pan add onion slices saute well and add salt and turmeric powder

  3. 3

    Now add ginger garlic paste, cashew raisins paste red chilli powder and garam masala powder fry well

  4. 4

    Now add oil in the same pan add shahi jeera and bay leaf to temper and add the Potatoes,fry well.

  5. 5

    Add mutton pieces saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  6. 6

    Cover it well and keep stirring occasionally

  7. 7

    Add warm water and cover keeping on low flame

  8. 8

    Now make a smooth paste of the fried masalas

  9. 9

    Add this paste into the mutton mix well

  10. 10

    Finally add ghee and garam masala powder.

  11. 11

    The mutton Korma curry is ready to be served
