Whisk together mirin, garlic powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add the pork and turn to coat well. Refrigerate until ready to cook (marinate about 30 mins or more).

When ready to cook, heat the buttered pan to high. Reduce heat to medium and add the pork. Grill for 5 mins per side. Set aside to rest.
