Steps

Boil soaked chole in cooker adding gooseberry, salt and pinch of soda.

In a pan heat oil add cumin, bay leaves and cinnamon. Mix onion and anardana in a mixer jar. Add this mixture and fry it on slow flame for 4-5 minutes.

Add ginger garlic paste and dry masalas. Add chana masala also. Roast it till oil leaves the pan.

Add tomato puree and roast again till oil separates.

Now add cooked chana and water. Cook it for 10 minutes.

Garnish with coriander.

Serve with bhature/naan/paratha or rice..happy eating..
