Heat a pan add ghee, cumin seeds,pinch of hing add khade masala sauté for a min

Now add tomato purée,green chilli,ginger paste and all the spices cook till the oil separates

Then add fried onions,fried ladyfingers and curd. Let it simmer for 2-3 mins

Then add cooked rice and mix well

Make a shallow whole in the centre and place on onion slice.Place a burning charcoal on the onion slice and pour a 1tsp of ghee

Then immediately cover with a lid or with aluminium foil. So that the biryani gets a smoky flavour

After 10 mins remove the charcoal and onion slice

Garnish with fried onions and sesame
- 9
Serve hot with raita and papad
