Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice (75% boiled)
  2. 2 tbspghee
  3. 250 gmslady fingers (slit cut) and fried
  4. 3-4Onions thinly sliced (fried)
  5. 1/2 cuptomato purée
  6. 1/4 tspginger paste
  7. 1/2 tsphaldi
  8. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tspdhaniya powder
  10. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  11. 1/2 tspkitchen king masala
  12. 2green chilli chopped
  13. 2-3cloves
  14. 2-3black whole pepper
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 2-3sabut lal mirch (dry)
  17. 1 tspsesame
  18. 1 tspcumin seeds
  19. Pinchhing
  20. 1/2 cuphung curd

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a pan add ghee, cumin seeds,pinch of hing add khade masala sauté for a min

  2. 2

    Now add tomato purée,green chilli,ginger paste and all the spices cook till the oil separates

  3. 3

    Then add fried onions,fried ladyfingers and curd. Let it simmer for 2-3 mins

  4. 4

    Then add cooked rice and mix well

  5. 5

    Make a shallow whole in the centre and place on onion slice.Place a burning charcoal on the onion slice and pour a 1tsp of ghee

  6. 6

    Then immediately cover with a lid or with aluminium foil. So that the biryani gets a smoky flavour

  7. 7

    After 10 mins remove the charcoal and onion slice

  8. 8

    Garnish with fried onions and sesame

  9. 9

    Serve hot with raita and papad
