Ingredients

2 servings
  • 250 gmsBoiled kathal/jack fruit
  • 1/2 cupSoaked chana dal
  • 2 tbspChopped onion
  • Cloves2
  • 1Black cardamom
  • 1Green cardamom
  • 2-3Whole black pepper
  • 1 inchCinnamon stick
  • 1 inchGinger stick
  • 2-3 podsGarlic
  • 2Green chilli
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspAmchur powder -
  • 2 tbspBread crumbs
  • to tasteSalt
  • As neededOil for frying

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan,add chopped onion and saute for 2 - 3 mins.

    Add boiled jackfruit pieces, chana dal,ginger garlic,green chilli and whole garam masala and saute for 2 - 3 mins.

    Add coriander powder,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt and mix well

  4. 4

    Once cooled,blend in the blender and make a paste.

    Add bread crumbs and mix well

  6. 6

    Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness

  7. 7

    Heat oil in a pan and fry the kabab in a medium flame
