Stuffed Bell Peppers with Ground Meat (Picadillo) and Cheese
This is a dish I enjoyed in my childhood... now I'm sharing it with my personal touch... and it's the first time I'm making it for my family... I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Finely chop all the ingredients except the meat.

Heat a skillet and add the chopped ingredients. Cook until caramelized.

Once caramelized, add the ground meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook until browned.

Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.

Add a layer of shredded cheese to the bottom of each pepper.

Fill with the cooked meat mixture.

If you like, wrap the peppers in aluminum foil to help them hold their shape while baking.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the peppers for about 20 minutes for 4 peppers (baking time may vary depending on the size of the peppers).
