Mixed Dal & rice Khichadi

Wash all the dals and rice.

Take a wide pan and put ghee 4tsp and heat.Add jeera, mustard seed,tej patta.

Add further one by one : ginger,hing 3-4pinch,salt and tomatoes.Saute everything 2mins.

Now put 1tsp sugar,gr chilli and jeera powder.Mix nicely all.

Add washed rice and Dal.Mix with spatula 2-3mins

Add two glasses of water and boil.

All the dals and rice will get cooked in a while.Add water further if required.

Keep stirring in between. Consistency of Khichadi can be adjusted as per your liking.Some like it thick and some like it runny.
