Cook the beans.

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy.

Once the bacon is crispy, remove it from the skillet. In the same bacon fat, fry the beef. Season with salt and pepper.

In a blender, combine the tomatoes, half the onion, cilantro, jalapeños, garlic, and a little salt. Blend until smooth.

Pour the blended mixture over the beef, which should only be seared at this point. The cooking will finish with the broth.

Add water to reach your desired broth consistency, and let it boil for 20 minutes.

Taste and adjust salt if needed.
