Drain the tuna and place it in a bowl.

Chop the onion and tomato, then mix them in.

Beat the eggs and mix them in.

Shape the mixture into croquettes, pressing as you go to remove excess moisture.

Shape each croquette and dip it in the beaten egg.

Then coat it with breadcrumbs.

Shape all the croquettes and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

While the croquettes are chilling, cook the pasta with onion and garlic for about 15 minutes.

Once the pasta is tender, drain the hot water and rinse it under cold running water (this step is important to keep the pasta from sticking together).
