Orange jelly in Orange Refreshment

It’s hot these days and thirsty in Bristol. I remember in my childhood, my mother sometimes made orange or grape fruits jelly inside the original fruits. I saw some nice and big oranges, I tried to reproduce it.
Orange jelly in Orange Refreshment
It’s hot these days and thirsty in Bristol. I remember in my childhood, my mother sometimes made orange or grape fruits jelly inside the original fruits. I saw some nice and big oranges, I tried to reproduce it.
Steps
- 1
Cut the top off an orange.
- 2
Remove the fruit inside as much as possible. You can use a knife first and use a spoon. Be careful not to make a hole in the orange peel.
- 3
Use a blender to make juice from the oranges taken out. Filter it after blender. I got 1200ml juice from 8 oranges. Heat the juice up to room temperature if it’s cold.
- 4
Put agar in the water, boil it for 2 min and dissolve all. Put the sugar in and dissolve it as well.
- 5
Put 3 and 4 all together.
- 6
Pour the liquid back into the orange “bowl”.
- 7
If the juice inside the orange is not too hot, put them in a fridge for a few hours.
