Steps

Soak beans for about 1hour to soften

Wash beans with palms to remove skin of beans. Continually drain water and replace till all(or almost all) skin is removed.

Blend beans with onions till smooth

Pour Palm oil in fry pan and place on cooker. As the oil gets hot, start mixing the akara.

Remove the portion you want to fry or that can fill the pan into a seperare bowl and add ground crayfish and black pepper as you mix

Once the oil is hot enough(not too hot), Add salt to your mixture. Stir well and begin using a serving spoon to dish the mixture in ball portions to the oil

Fry both sides for about 5 minutes each

Once the akara balls are ready,serve them on a plate layered with paper towels. This is to drain some oil from the akara.

Your Akara is ready. You can eat them with pap, custard, garri or bread
