Ingredients

  2. 1 kgmutton
  3. 250 gm curd
  4. 2 tspGinger
  5. 2 tspGarlic
  6. 1lemon
  7. 8 pieceAloo bokhara
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 3 piecesOnion
  10. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  11. 1 kgpotato
  12. Saffron strands (soaked in 1/4 cup warm milk
  13. 2/3 tspkewra water
  14. 10 tspgaram masala
  15. 4cardamon
  16. 2-3 cinnamon
  17. 8cloves
  18. 1/2 tspshahi zeera
  19. Water for boiling rice
  20. 250 gmdesi ghee

Steps

    Firstly wash and soak rice for 1 hrs in sufficient water

  2. 2

    Marrinate mutton for 15 minutes with 1 lemon juice and salt

  3. 3

    Peel potatoes add 1/4 tsp chilli powder 1 lemon juice salt to taste 1/2 desi ghee and water just to cover the potatoes keep in low flame in mudium and cook till soft and tender

  4. 4

    Take ghee in a pan add slices onion and fry until golden brown

  5. 5

    Add mutton in a fry onion add whole masala ginger garlic paste curd red chilli powder and salt to taste mix and cook well until the meat become soft and cook well

  6. 6

    When the rice is 3/4 done strain it and add it on the layer of muntton potatoes

  7. 7

    Finally add saffron (soaked in milk

  8. 8

    Your lipsmacking biryani is ready to be served
