Wash your chicken and make cuts on them. Apply salt and half a lemon or a tablespoon of vinegar. Set aside for 20mins.'

In a bowl, pour in the yoghurt/mala, add in all the other spices. Except the food color. Mix well.

Apply the mixture above to the chicken.

Mix the food color with some oil and apply it the chicken. Cover with cling film and marinate for 5 hrs - overnight.

You can shallow fry the chicken pieces on a pan with little oil for 8 - 10mins on each side or you can bake for about 30mins at 180 - 10-15mins on each side.
