Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  • 500 grampointed gourd
  • 2Onions chopped
  • 1tomato chopped
  • 4-5green chillies chopped
  • 1 tspginger crushed
  • 4-5 clovesgarlic chopped
  • 1 tspred chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 handfulkaju kishmish
  • 1 tbsppoppy seeds
  • 1 handfulwhole garam masalas
  • 1/2 tspfennel seed powder
  • As neededCoconut milk
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    At first peel off the gourd roughly

  2. 2

    Now heat oil and add garam masala whole

  3. 3

    Add kaju and poppy seeds and fry a second

  4. 4

    Add onion slices saute well

  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic and tomato saute well adding red chilli Powder and green chillies

  6. 6

    Remove it and make a paste of the masala

  7. 7

    Heat oil and add the gourd and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  8. 8

    Cover it till the gourds are soft

  9. 9

    Add the masala paste saute

  10. 10

    Add coconut milk and cover keeping the flame low

  11. 11

    Finally add sugar and fennel seeds powder

  12. 12

    Serve it with rice or roti
