  2. 1 glassSugar
  3. 125 gButter
  4. 150 gPoppy seeds
  5. 1 tspBaking Powder
  6. 1 glassWheat flour

Steps

    Poppy seeds boil for 5 minutes and let it swell in boiling water under the lid 20 minutes after straining through a sieve.

  2. 2

    Whisk the yolks with sugar and butter, add poppy and flour with baking powder.

  3. 3

    Separately whip the egg whites to soft peaks and gently insert them into the dough.

  4. 4

    Put the dough in a greased form and bake the makovnik 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
