Ingredients

2 servings
  • 3/4 cup rice soaked for 15 mins
  • 1/4 cup moong Dal (skinless) for 15 mins
  • 2 tbspghee
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 2 pcsdried red chilli
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 pinchturmeric powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

10 mins
  1. 1

    Add Ghee in a cooker. Add Zeera and dried red chilli. When Zeera starts popping, add rice and Dal and cook for a minute without lid.

  2. 2

    Now add 2 cups water, salt, turmeric powder. Cover the lid and wait till one whistle.

  3. 3

    Serve with any chutney of your choice.
