Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. Your favorite trio of sauteed veggies. Mine were
  3. Onion
  4. Tomato
  5. Garlic
  6. Cilantro
  7. Butter
  8. Eevo
  9. Chicken consummé
  10. Ground dried shrimp look in Hispanic section
  11. Salt n pepper
  12. Garlic powder
  13. 1/2 cupred salsa or to your preference
  14. 4 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Saute all veggies and seasoning in pan

    Join in the rice to toast and saute in the butter and olive oil.

    Once rice is opaque blend in the salsa with all the combined ingredients.

    While on med high heat add water stir once. Cover turn down to med low n let simmer 20 min

  5. 5

    The dried ground shrimp powder is a very strong flavor so start with a tablespoon and taste the broth until the strength is to your liking. Papi likes strong pronounced flavors so I used about 3 tablespoon. But that's way too much for me😆

Mostly I just wanted to save my recipes because I always forget how I made really good food. It's so much easier to save them this way. If someone else can enjoy the recipe or just the inspiration, well then, all the better.
