Add some of the poha in a sieve and using your hands gently shake it removing all the broken poha powder and then adding the poha to the wok.

Dry roast it.

3 minutes down and the poha should be nice and crisp so move it aside, and take a small vessel.

Take a kadai. To this add the oil, and once the oil is hot add about 1 tbsp of the potato khis and while stirring is constantly. Also make sure that the flame is on medium.

In the same oil lets add the peanuts and cook for about 1 minute or until you start seeing a little colour change.

Time to fry the Dried coconut. So let’s add the coconut and fry for about 30 – 45 seconds

Add the curry leaves followed by the Roasted chana dal and the salt. Do keep stirring it all the while. After about 1 minute let’s add it on top of the poha.

Once the chiwda is nicley mix in turn on the gas on a low flame and roast it for the next 6-7 minutes,
