Make a batter using all the ingredients except the chutney with required quantity of water.

Now in one pan apply butter, place the slice of bread. Apply chutney over it and then the batter. Cover and cook. Then turn the slice upside down to cook the Besan batter.

Let it be little brown and crispy. Cut it into half and serve with tomatoe ketchup.
