Chocolate Chip Cookies

I decided to make chocolate chip cookies once and used the first recipe Google threw at me. It turned out to be the best chocolate chip cookies I'd ever had. They are very soft and moist. I would compare them to Subway cookies but not as flat.

I kept making these often-requested cookies for a few years for all of my friends and family but then disaster struck! The recipe was removed from the app!

Fortunately I had previously emailed the recipe to someone so now I'm re-posting this recipe for everyone to enjoy.

Ingredients

9 mins
20 servings
  1. 1 cupButter
  2. 1 cupGranulated Sugar
  3. 1/2 cupBrown Sugar
  4. 2Eggs
  5. 2 tspReal Vanilla Extract
  6. 2 1/3 cupAll Purpose Flour
  7. 1 tspSalt
  8. 1 tspBaking Soda
  9. 12 oz.Chocolate Chips

Cooking Instructions

9 mins
  1. 1

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. (350° if you’re using a convection oven)

  2. 2

    Mix butter and sugars.

The colder the butter, the better. If you don’t have a stand mixer, your forearms should be burning at the end of this step.

    1 cup Butter
    1 cup Granulated Sugar
    1/2 cup Brown Sugar

  3. 3

Add eggs, vanilla, salt and baking soda.

    2 Eggs
    2 tsp. Real Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp. Salt
    1 tsp. Baking Soda

  4. 4

Add flour 1 cup at a time and then add final 1/3 cup. I usually just use my hands to mix the flour....but for God's sake, wash your hands first, you animal!!

2 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour

  5. 5

Add chocolate chips. Again, I usually use my hands.

    12 oz. Chocolate Chips

  6. 6

Drop golf ball-sized balls of dough onto baking sheet.

You can just use an un-greased baking sheet but I usually line the baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier clean up.

  7. 7

Bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit (350° for convection ovens) for 9 minutes.

  8. 8

    Insert cookie into mouth...
