Ingredients

  1. 5 cupslow sodium fat free chicken broth
  2. 2 cupswater
  3. 1chopped cloves garlic divided
  4. 4 tbspchopped fresh parsley divided
  5. 3-4 tbsptomato sauce
  6. 6 ozdry cut up spaghetti
  7. to tastesalt and pepper
  8. 16 ozlean ground turkey
  9. 1small egg
  10. 1/4 cupseasoned bread crumbs
  11. 1/4 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  12. 1 tbspchopped basil

Steps

  1. 1

    Over medium heat, bring chicken broth, water, garlic, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, tomato sauce and pepper to boil. Simmer about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Make meatballs by combining ground turkey, parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Form into 1/2 inch meatballs.

  3. 3

    Drop meatballs into the broth, cook about 3 minutes, add pasta and cook according to package directions. Add fresh basil, adjust salt and pepper to taste and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
