Ingredients

2 servings
  1. Pakwan
  2. 1 cupall purpose flour
  3. 1 pinchcumin seeds
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 2 tbspoil
  6. As neededOil for frying
  7. Dal.
  8. 1 cupchana dal
  9. 1/4 cupmoong dhuli dal
  10. 1tomato chopped
  11. 2green chilli chopped
  12. 1small piece of ginger chopped
  13. as neededCoriander leaves chopped
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 1 tspchilli powder
  16. 1/4 tsphaldi powder
  17. 1/4 tspdhaniya powder
  18. 1/4 tspamchur powder / lemon juice
  19. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  20. 2 tbsp ghee
  21. pinchHing,
  22. 1/2 tsp jeera,
  23. 1/2 tsprai

Steps

  1. 1

    Pakwan........Take a bowl.add all purpose flour, cumin seeds,salt and 2 tbsp oil.mix well.

  2. 2

    Make a soft dough with adding water and keep aside for 30 min.

  3. 3

    Now make Pakwan like u make thin chapati / poori shape.

  4. 4

    Prick the chapati with folk.

  5. 5

    Heat enough oil in a pan.Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crispy in a medium flame

  6. 6

    Dal.............Soak chana and moong dal for 1/2 an hour

  7. 7

    Add salt and haldi powder and pressure cook for 2 -3 whistle.

  8. 8

    Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.Add cumin seeds to crackle.

  9. 9

    Add chopped tomato, ginger or green chilli and saute for 2 min.add all masale and mix well.Cook 2 min.

    Add in boiled dal.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
