Ingredients

  • 1 lbAlmond Paste
  • 1 1/4 cupssugar
  • 4eggs whites
  • 1/2 cupflour
  • 1/4 lb.Pinoli nuts

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. 2

    Beat 4 eggs whites until stiff

  3. 3

    Slowly beat in 1/14 cups of sugar and 1/2 cup of flour.

  4. 4

    Slowly add 1 lb of Almond paste breaking it in pieces as you add it in.

  5. 5

    Beat until smooth

  6. 6

    Line cookie sheet with parchment paper

  7. 7

    Drop by teaspoonful on the parchment lined cookie sheet.

  8. 8

    Top each cookie with the Pinoli nuts

  9. 9

    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

    DON'T LET THE COOKIES GET TO BROWN

  10. 10

    Cool on a wire rack.
