Plain Moong Dal Dosa

First mix moongdal and rice and wash it 2-3 times in a big bowl and soak it in water for 3-4 hours.

After 3-4 hours drain the water from soaked moong dal and rice. Add asafoetidi, salt and some water (as required) and grind it.

Heat oil on a non-stick tawa on high flame. Once the tawa is hot, reduce the flame to slow.

Pour a ladle of batter in center of tawa and spread it in a circular motion i.e. from center to outer corners of the tawa and drizzle 1/2 tsp of oil around the dosa.

Cook it for 2-3 minutes. When the top side of the dosa appears to dry, flip the dosa to the other side and drizzle 1/2 tsp of oil on the dosa and cook for 1-2 minutes.

When both sides of dosa are cooked, fold it in round shape and transfer it into a plate.

Repeat the same procdure for preparing all dosas.

Plain MoongDal Dosa is ready to eat. Serve hot with green chatany and khatti meethi imali chatany or any chatany of your choice.
