Heat oil and saute pointed gourd and potatoes

Add salt and turmeric powder and fry

In another pan add oil temper cumin seeds bay leaf and green chillies

Add ginger and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add cumin powder and red chilli powder and saute well

Add fried gourd and potatoes and mix well

Add water and bring it to boil

Add sugar and garam masala powder

Serve it with plain rice
