  1. 1 cuplong grain rice
  2. 1 tsplemon zest
  3. 1 tbsplemon juice
  4. 4 sprigsfresh dill herbs
  5. 1 pinchsaffron
  6. 2 inchesEnough water to cover rice up to

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients except lemon zest and lemon juice. Soak at room temp for 24 hours.

  2. 2

    Drain and save raining water. Add lemon zest and half sprigs of dill to rice, stir and place in a steam basket.

  3. 3

    Add reserved water to the steamer and place the rice to steam for 30 minutes. Once done, turn off steamer and leave rice in it for 20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add lemon juice and dill while fluffing rice with fork, gently. Its ready to serve.
