Delicious,healthy, tasty chutney powder very popular in South India.

Wash the curry leaves with water. Spread it on dry cloth. Let it completely dry.

Take curry leaves in a pan and dry roast them on low flame till it becomes crispy. Keep aside. You can roast curry leaves in a microwave too.

In same pan add chana dal, udad dal, black pepper, coriander seed, cumin seed, red chillies, grated coconut, tamarind.

Roast till the lentils (dal) becomes golden brown. Switch off the gas.

Add roasted curry leaves. Mix well. Let it cool down completely.add jaggery and salt.

Grind it coarsely. Chutney powder is ready. You can eat it with idly, dosa and rice with ghee.
