Asian Sirloin Steak with Thai Drunken Fried Rice Asian Sirloin Steak with Thai Drunken Fried Rice
This is by no means "authentic" but inspired by different recipes and meals I have had out at Thai and Japanese restaurants. I used sirloin because I was strapped on cash, but filet mignon would work *beautifully* for this recipe. The sirloin was still absolutely delicious! It can be cooked to your desired temperature. I made ours a medium rare. The rice is made for leftovers!!Sarah Bryant

Macrobiotic Brown Rice Bread Macrobiotic Brown Rice Bread
I've only recently started eating brown rice after starting my macrobiotic diet, but I don't really like it on its own so much, so I tried making bread with it instead. Top it with soy cheese and it becomes even more yummy!I'm a bit all over the place so when I found out I didn't have enough strong flour for this recipe, I just tried adding some whole wheat flour that I had on hand. The only reason I added shredded coconut was because it was there. The guidelines for the proving process are also pretty lax and approximated. This results in a thick and heavy bread that leaves your stomach feeling satisfied.Slice it before freezing to store, and you'll be able to enjoy delicious toast whenever you're hungry. Foolproof Chicken Rice in a Rice Cooker Foolproof Chicken Rice in a Rice Cooker
I recreated a taste of a dish I saw in Singapore long ago, using my imagination as a guide. There's nothing to it. Just put the ingredients in the rice cooker, and anyone can make this. If I have to give a single tip, it would be to put the rice in a bowl first before transferring it to a plate, to give it a nice shape and make it look authentic. Recipe by Hironiasu cookpad.japan -
Mongolian Beef Rice Bowl Mongolian Beef Rice Bowl
I love Mongolian beef, so I've been trying to find an easy recipe that taste like I like. This one is pretty close. But it seems to be a fine line between the proper flavor, and too salty. Using broth to replace some of the salty soy sauce, balances the salty and flavor out, I think. Fo Fa -
