Ingredients

  • 2 kgRice
  • Jinger 2tps
  • Garlic 1(crushed)
  • Oil (enough)
  • Meat 1/2 1kg
  • Onions 2bulbs
  • Tomatoes 5medium
  • Cabage
  • 25 gSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown the onions in oil

  2. 2

    Add the garlic and stir well until brown also

  3. 3

    Add the tomatoes stir well and ensure no pieces of tomato seen

  4. 4

    Add the meat stir until they are tender and brown

  5. 5

    Add 8 cups or 2 jugs of water to boil

  6. 6

    Add the rice and season correctly

  7. 7

    Leave to cook

  8. 8

    When ready serve with steamed cabbage and enjoy
