Steps

Grate the tomatoes to make puree and set aside.

Boil the beef and brown with a little oil and set it aside

In a pan, fry the onions till brown then add in the garlic/ginger paste and stir

Add in the tomato puree, stir anf cover to simmer for a few mins

Add salt and pilau masala and stir

Add in the beef, potatoes and rice. Stir to mix well

Add in the water. Stir and cover. When the water starts to boil, reduce the heat to minimum.

When ready serve with steamed cabbage or kachumbari and enjoy
