First of all wash thoroughly then soak the rice in water for at least 1 hour

Take a heavy bottom pan and pour a glass of water in it..

Put the flame on and add all the ingredients mention above along with yellow food colour except rice and saffron and let it to give a boil

When the water comes at boiling stage, add soaked and drain water content rice in it.. Give a nice stir

Slow down the flame and remove the star anise and clove from rice and keep aside for final garnishing..let the rice cook for about 15-20minutes at slow flame..pour the saffron water and remain the saffron strands seprate fo' garnishing.. check the rice whether cooked or and't by pressing a grain of rice in between yo'r index finger and thumb

Let the flame off..yo'r delicious yellow sweet rice for festive occasion r ready

Serve hot in a glass bowl or tray, garnish with star anise, clove& saffron strands and drizzle a spoon of desi ghee fo' more glazed appearance and a natural aroma of cooked sweet rice and herbs infused in it

Tip_U can adjust the quantity of water according the quality of rice slightly minimize or maximize and can adjust sugar according to yo'r flavours of sweetness..This recipe is very close to me 'cause of my family's favourite dish💯💗👍
