Chicken with a Marinade from the Heart of the Greek Countryside

When we talk about the countryside, village, or rural life, especially in terms of food, we refer to the highest quality fresh ingredients without freezing or chemicals, and fresh vegetables. Today's recipe comes from the heart of the Greek countryside, specifically from the rural area of Ikaria Island near the Turkish sea border. They prepare all their food with unpeeled garlic, either whole or crushed directly into the cooking. The unique taste of garlic when bitten into is delightful. The peel separates easily and is discarded into a special dish on the table. Most residents of this island still use traditional wood-fired ovens for roasting chicken and meats. Imagine chicken and vegetables without chemicals, offering a delicious, healthy, and unparalleled taste. Try using unpeeled garlic cloves, and you'll notice a remarkable difference in flavor.

Jerk Chicken Marinade Jerk Chicken Marinade
I love my slow cooker jerk chicken, but when I want it now this recipe works just as good. You can either let it marinate for just four hours or overnight. It is all up to you.The spice level is all up to you. It all depends on how much cayenne/scotch bonnet pepper you add to it. Either way, it is still very good and flavorful. Personally, I like a little kick to it, but that is just me.As for the soy sauce, I love to use liquid aminos. You can just use regular soy sauce instead. The measurements are exactly the same. You can use chicken wings, or thighs, or drumsticks, etc, I just prefer chicken breast. You can serve this with coconut rice and peas, plain rice, or something else.Enjoy! Homemade Delicious Marinade - For Weight Loss Diets Homemade Delicious Marinade - For Weight Loss Diets
I wanted to eat plenty of vegetables for weight loss and health. I don't like commercial marinades that aren't sweet, so I made a sweet version that I like, and my family loves it too.Olive oil, which is a good oil to have on a diet, hardens in the refrigerator, so I add it separately.I use Lakanto S artificial sweetener. The granulated version doesn't dissolve well when it's cold so I used the liquid type, but if you're using it directly on vegetables, use the regular granulated kind.It is probably different from any other sweetener you may be using, so adjust the amount. Carne Asada Marinade Carne Asada Marinade
Carne asada is a great way for the whole family to enjoy a better cut of meat in a taco rather than the usual ground beef, on a limited budget.Make a couple of tacos by adding some shredded cabbage, fresh pico de gallo, a squeeze of lime, and a drizzle of crema or slightly thinned sour cream wrapped in charred corn tortillas, and you have a healthful, delicious, balanced and inexpensive meal.If you prefer chicken, this marinade also works great with boneless, skinless chicken thighs. The recipe will make enough taco or burrito filling for 4 and is easily doubled. x -

California Farm Al Pastor Marinade and Rub California Farm Al Pastor Marinade and Rub
Sophisticated ingredients, sophisticated flavor. The al pastor method was brought to Mexico from Lebanon, two world powers in grilling with spices and herbs. I make a fresh fruity Al Pastor marinade, not from canned pine apple. Fresh pine apple marinade takes only two hours to tenderize the meat. I condensed the leftover marinade to make a thick al pastor rub for the meat for grilling. Hobby Horseman -
