Ingredients

30 minutes
3 serving
  • 1&1/2 CupBasmati Rice
  • 2Spoon Oil
  • 1 Cupchopped Mushrooms
  • 1medium Onion thinly sliced
  • 2green chilli
  • 1spoon ginger garlic paste
  • as neededSalt
  • 1/2spoon red chilli powder and garam masala
  • leavesMint and coriander
  • Dry spices
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2"cinnamon stick
  • 3-4 cloves cloves

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash rice and soak it for at least 10 minutes, heat oil in a pan, add in the dry spices and onion,saute it until golden, add ginger garlic paste, mushroom and mint coriander leaves and salt,green chili,red chili and garam masala, saute it few minutes,pour rice and water, cook on a medium heat until all the water evaporates, when the rice is still soggy, cover with a lid, cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes until the rice is done fully, serve mushroom pulav hot or warm with a simple raita and salad
