Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgChicken boneless
  2. 1/2 kgLong grain rice
  3. 3 tspBiryani Masala
  4. 2 tspCoriander jeera powder
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. as neededOil
  7. 2 cupsOnions chopped
  8. 2 tspGinger garlic paste
  9. 1 cupTomato chopped
  10. 2bay leaf
  11. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  12. as neededTurmeric

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak rice in some water after washing it.

  2. 2

    Wash marinate chicken in ginger garlic paste, turmeric,salt for 1hr.

  3. 3

    Take a pan add oil and heat.Add Bay leaf and jeera.

  4. 4

    Add onions and saute till brown.

  5. 5

    Add Coriander jeera powder,salt to taste, turmeric, garam masala and fry.

  6. 6

    Add chicken and stir fry.Add tomatoes.Mix well.

  7. 7

    Now put rice and stir another 2-3mins

  8. 8

    Add sufficient water and let it boil.When water starts reducing close the pan and turn gas on sim.

  9. 9

    Cook pullao for 10-15mins.Keep check in between.

  10. 10

    Turn off the heat after 15mins.
