Ingredients

50 pieces
  • 500 gramsMinced Pork
  • 100 gramsMinced Shrimp
  • 50 gramsChopped Carrot
  • 100 gramsTapioca Starch
  • 1/4 cupChopped Shallots
  • 5 clovesGarlic, minced
  • 3 tbspOyster Sauce
  • 2 tbspSesame Oil
  • 1 tbspSoy sauce
  • 1 packdim sum pastry
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1/4 tspPepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients except the pasty and put it a side for 20mins.

  2. 2

    Prepare a steamer to steam the siomai.

  3. 3

    Wrap the mixed ingredients with the dumpling pastry. Garnish with chopped carrots.

    Put the dumpling in the hot steamer and steam them for 20 mins.

  5. 5

    Serve with chilli sauce or dumpling sauce.
