Mix all the ingredients, except those under the sugar syrup and oil, into a smooth batter.

Heat some oil in a frying pan and then pour one tablespoon of the batter and deep fry them. Keep them aside

In a separate container heat some water and along with the sugar. The quantity of the sugar should be equal to the quantity of the water.

Boil the water till it thickens like a sugar syrup.

Add the cardamom powder.
- 6
Add all the malpuas in the sugar syrup that were fried earlier.

Serve hot.
