Ingredients

  • 2tspfor stuffing oil
  • 1 tspginger / adrak grated
  • 2 cupgobi / cauliflower grated
  • 1/2 tspturmeric / haldi
  • 2 tspbesan
  • 1/2 tspall mirch powder
  • 1/2 tspcoriander powder / daniya powder
  • 1/2 tspjeera powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1/2 tspsugar
  • 1/2 tspaamchur powder
  • to tastesalt
  • 2 tspcoriander finely chopped
  • for paratha dough:
  • 1 cupwhole wheat flour / atta
  • to tastesalt
  • 1 tbspoil or ghee
  • as neededwater as required for kneading
  • 1/4 cupwheat flour for dusting
  • as neededfor roasting paratha: ghee or oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Gobi stuffing recipe:
    firstly, heat oil and saute ginger.
    further add besan saute add grated cauliflower (gobi) and saute for 5 minutes.
    add all spices and salt. saute well.
    finally, add coriander leaves and keep aside.

  2. 2

    Assembling and rolling gobi paratha recipe:
    firstly, pinch a medium sized ball from chapathi dough, roll out.

  3. 3

    Place the prepared stuffing in the center.
    take the edge and start pleating bringing to center.
    and press the pleats from center.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.

  5. 5

    Roasting gobi parata
    On a hot tava place the rolled paratha and cook both sides.
    also add oil / ghee and press slightly.

  6. 6

    Finally, serve hot gobi parathas with schezwan sauce, raita or pickle.
