Ingredients

1 hour
4 servings
  • 2 cupBasmati Rice soaked and then (half cooked)
  • 1/2 cupgreen peas (boiled)
  • 2 tbsptuttyfruity
  • 2 tbspfresh cherry/ sweet cherry
  • 1-2bay leaf
  • 1-2black cardamom
  • 4-5cloves
  • 5-6peppercorns
  • 1 stickcinnamon
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1-2 tbspgarlic + ginger paste
  • 1 cuponion sliced
  • 2-3 dropskewra water
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1-2 tbspdryfruits
  • sticksFor garnishing :- fried cauliflower, onion rings potato
  • (For Burrani Raita):-
  • 1 cupthick curd
  • 1/2 tspdesi ghee
  • 2 tspgarlic chopped
  • 1/2 tspcumin powder
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan heat 1 tbsp oil add cumin seeds, bay leaf, black cardamom, peppercorns, cloves,cinnamon stick fry for a second.

  2. 2

    Now add sliced onion fry for a minute. Add ginger and garlic paste saute for a minute.

  3. 3

    Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder salt mix well.

  4. 4

    Add boiled peas, tuttyfrutty, cherry stir well.

  5. 5

    Now add half cooked rice mix well.

  6. 6

    Add some water and cover the lid till soft.

  7. 7

    Now add kewra water stir well.

  8. 8

    Garnish and serve with(burrani raita) garlic raita and red chilli garlic chutney.

  9. 9

    (For Burrani Raita):- Take a small pan heat desi ghee add chopped garlic saute till colour change.

  10. 10

    Now add garlic in a curd bowl, add red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt mix well.

  11. 11

    Then refrigerate for 15 minutes and serve with kashmiri pulao.
