Steps

Wash & soak the rice for 20 minutes.& soak the chickpeas overnight.

In a pressure cooker,pour 2 tbsp of oil with chopped onions & ginger garlic paste.cook till they become brown in colour.

Now add salt,red chilli powder & turmeric powder,saute for few seconds & add grinded tomatoes.Cook till they become a smooth paste.

Add chickpeas in it & saute for 5 minutes,now add 1 glass of water in it & cover with lid.

After a whistle,slow down the flame & cook for 15 minutes.

Switchoff the flame & let it cool down then open the lid & check if the chickpeas r soft or not.

On a slow flame cook till all the water in it is absorbed & chickpeas should be well mixed with the masala.

Again add water according to gravy & give it 2-4 boil.

Pour it in a serving bowl & serve hot with chapati or rice

Take another pan,pour 2 tsp of oil in it with cumin seeds,when they crackleup,add 2 cup rice with 4 cup water & salt.

After a boil,slow down the flame & cook for 20 minutes.
