Potato Corn Tikki
Steps
- 1
First boil the potatoes. keep it in the fridge for a couple hours and let them cool. Then peel their skin off.
- 2
Now grate the potatoes, using grater. Also boil the corn kernel until they are soft. Once soft let them cool on room temperature.
- 3
Take a big bowl and add the grated potatoes, corn kernel, chopped green chilli, salt, red chilli powder, u aamchoor powder and suji. And mix them well using your hands. After mixing well keep the mixture on the side for 10 minutes.
- 4
In the mean time let the tawa heat up. Once heated, grease it with ghee/oil. The amount ghee/oil depends on the use of tawa you are using. I used non-stick tawa so I only used a spoon of ghee/oil but in case of normal iron tawa, you need to use a lot more than 1 spoon of ghee/oil.
- 5
Now take a good portion of the mixture in your hand and make a ball of it and put it on the hot tawa and flatten it, using your fingers. Do the same with the rest of mixtures.
- 6
Cook the tikki from both sides, until they turn golden brown. And serve it with green chutney.
