Ingredients

  1. 250 gmsRava (Suji)
  2. 100 gmscurd
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. as neededWater to make batter
  5. as neededFinely sliced onion
  6. 1carrot cut in julliens
  7. 1 cupcabbage shredded
  8. 1capsicum thin sliced
  9. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  10. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  11. 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
  12. 3-4 tsptomato sauce
  13. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  14. 3-4 tbsp oil
  15. 2 tspeno

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak rava with curd and little water to make a thick batter for 3-4 hrs..

  2. 2

    Add salt to it,take half batter add eno to it...Then put this in idli stands and steam in a steamer for 5-7 minutes....Take out after it's done

  3. 3

    Demould after cooling.. Repeat the process for rest of the batter

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan...Add ginger garlic paste,sliced onions,carrot,....Saute for 4-5 minutes add cabbage and capsicum again saute for 2-3 minutes

  5. 5

    Add soy sauce,chilli sauce, ketchup black pepper powder,salt to taste,and prepared idlis

  6. 6

    Mix well..Heat well and idlis ready to serve... Garnish with coriander and spring onion....
