Ingredients

  1. 4Hard boiled eggs -
  2. 200 gmsChopped onion -
  3. 2 tbspGarlic paste -
  4. 2 tbspGinger paste -
  5. 1/2 cupTomato puree -
  6. 2 tbspCream -
  7. 2 tbspKhuskhus / poppy seed paste -
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder -
  9. 1 tspRed chilly powder -
  10. 1 tspCoriander powder -
  11. 1 tspGaram masala powder -
  12. Cloves- 2
  13. Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  14. 2Green cardamom -
  15. 2Whole black paper -
  16. 1/4 tspCumin seeds -
  17. to tasteSalt -
  18. 1 cupClarified butter / ghee -
  19. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp

Steps

60 mins
  1. 1

    Peel the eggs and preak it.

    Heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan

  3. 3

    Add boiled eggs and fry till dark brown on low flame and strain it.

  4. 4

    Heat clarified butter and add cumin seeds and whole garam masala to crackle.

  5. 5

    Add onion paste,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 - 4 mins.

  6. 6

    Add poppy seed paste and mix well.Add tomato puree and saute for 2 - 3 mins.

  7. 7

    Add cream and mix well.

  8. 8

    Add one cup of water and bring to boil.

  9. 9

    When it boiled add boiled eggs and cook for five mins

  10. 10

    Garnish with coriander leaves.

  11. 11

    Serve hot with naan or chapaties.
