Omens besides being a staple food from my community it's also one of my fav foods. It's rich in omega 3, folic and iron.
Steps

Put pan on jiko.

Add oil till it gets hot then add diced onions till golden brown.

Add diced tomatoes and cover.
- 4
Wash Omena with cold water and set aside and drain all the water.
- 5
After the onion and tomato mixture has ivad add the Omena and stir with a wooden mwiko. Turn occessionally so that the Omena doesn't burn. When the Omena has turned brown and slightly crispy remove and serve hot with ugali and greens.
