In a bowl add flour and water. Knead until soft. Add oil and knead until the dough stops sticking to your hand. Rest for 15 minutes

Divide dough into round balls. Cover as you finish the rest

Roll out the round balls into circles thinly

Add one of the phulka onto pan. When bubbles start to appear, flip it and cook the second side a bit longer

Light up the gas on medium high heat use tongs to place phulka on the open flame. It will begin to puff up

Let phulka puff up to round ball before removing. You can place wire mesh over the open flame and put phulka on top

Once puffed and golden brown take off heat place on a plate, spread butter on top and repeat process until all done. Serve with curry
