Steps

Peel yam, wash, cut into cubes and put in a pot, add adequate water to it.

Blend pepper and tomatoes and add to the yam.

Add palm oil, salt/seasoning cubes, dried fish. Cover and allow to boil until yam is almost cooked. Allow to cook until tender.

When yam is cooked, add washed/sliced pumpkin leaves (ugu).

Add grinded crayfish, sliced onions...cover and allow to steam. Stir to combine all the ingredients together.

Your yam porridge is ready.. Enjoy!!!
