Ingredients

  1. As neededOil for frying
  2. 1 1/2 tspRice flour
  3. 2Potato
  4. For ram ladoo ingredients
  5. 1/3 cupUdad dal dhuli
  6. 1/2 cupChana dal
  7. 1/3 tsppinch Salt
  8. 1/3 tspRed chilli powder
  9. 1 tspChaat masala
  10. 1/2 cupGrated raddish or mooli
  11. For ganish
  12. 1/4 cuppomegranate
  13. 1 tbspSev
  14. For coriander chutney ingredients
  15. 2 cupCoriander finely chopped
  16. 1 tspImli water
  17. 5 clovesGarlic
  18. 1Green chilli
  19. 1Onion roughly chopped
  20. 1/2 tspSalt
  21. 1/3 tspBlack pepper powder
  22. 1 tspGaram masala powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly remove the skin of potatoes and grate it

  2. 2

    Soak both dals over night and then grind it and make fine paste

  3. 3

    Then take a bowl, add dal paste, salt and red chilli powder in it and mix it for 7mins

  4. 4

    Then make small balls and deep fry all on medium to slow flame

  5. 5

    When it become crispy and golden brown..it's done.. Sprinkle chaat masala on it and mix it well

    Method for chutney

    Take a jar

  8. 8

    Add coriander chopped, onion, garlic and spices in it and blend it..

  9. 9

    Then add green chilli and imli water in it and again blend it.., chutney is ready..

    For basket method

    Take a bowl

  12. 12

    Add grated potatoes, rice flour and salt in it and mix it well

  13. 13

    Then make tart mould.., and grease it with some ghee or oil

  14. 14

    Set little grated potato mixture on it

  15. 15

    And deep fry all on medium to slow flame

  16. 16

    When potato baskets become golden brown and easily leave the tart mould, it means it's done..

  17. 17

    Then take potato basket, put ram ladoo in it, put chutney on it, sprinkle raddish, pomegranate, sev and a pinch of chaat masala on it..

    And serve hot.
