Hearty stew for cold nights or quick dinners. Rice pack used in recipe can be substituted for 1 cup cooked rice.

Hearty stew for cold nights or quick dinners. Rice pack used in recipe can be substituted for 1 cup cooked rice.
Steps

Cut chicken into thick strips, brown on high in nonstick soup pot.

Remove brown chicken from heat.

Chop onions and add to hot pan from chicken.
- 4
Rough chop carrots and celery, add when onions are translucent. Stir well.
- 5
Add 4 cups of water or broth and season to taste, then bring to boil.
- 6
Add chicken into boiling water, cover and cook 10 min.
- 7
Remove and rough chop chicken, set aside.
- 8
Add 1.5 cups water and rice mix, bring to boil.
- 9
Cover, cook med high for 7 min.
- 10
Remove from heat, add chicken and cover to rest for 5 min.
